About Us

This is Chuck a 1963 Chevrolet step van P30 series all the way from the USA, we acquired Chuck December 2022 and started work converting him into a fully functional rotisserie kitchen in January 2023 we needed to gut the inside and start again. We know this is an ongoing project.It may be the only one in England I'm almost sure the only one being converted into a food truck This side of the water.

We acknowledge Chuck looks a little worn in places and need some TLC. All of these things will happen in time, but this van has character, never fails to start and we are slowly falling in love with this labour of love. Just drive him down the road people stop & stare, give us a wave and we put smile on people's faces.

Were did it all start!

Came about by having a hog roast business which we started back in 2013 when we both had full time employment we did about 12 to 20 events a year for about 5 years, we came up with Mr Hogg and hogroasthampshire.com, We needed to stop due to the factor Tony changed jobs and his free time to run hogroasthampshire became very challenging sadly.

Since being semi-retired we decided to have a new venture combining things we enjoy cooking, restoring classic vehicles and a bit of DIY into what you see today. “Mr Hogg's Pig in a Bun”.
